Simulations and Games
Using simulations and games as an educational tool helps students learn. Research has shown that simulations and games encourage learning in students. They are more interested in the lesson and retain more of the information that they have learned. Using this strategy is a useful tool.


Nonlinguistic Reprensentation
Nonlinguistic Representation has a very unique approach on teaching with its focus being mainly on action and organizing rather than lectures and class discussions.
"Helping students understand and represent knowledge nonlinguistically is the most under-used instructional strategy" (Marzano et al., 2001) The more the students use both (nonlinguistic and linguistic representation) methods, the better they will be at retaining the information.

Reinforcing Effort and Providing Recognition
When students understand the relationship between effort and achievement success is, in most times, inevitable. Unfortunately, students sometimes are discouraged by difficult or seemingly impossible assignments and teachers do not always properly motivate the students to overcome their challenges. Reinforcing effort and providing recognition is a very useful instructional strategy to apply when students are overwhelmed by difficult challenges and are finding motivation in short supply.


Cues, Questions, and Advanced Organizers
This strategy is used for teachers to figure out what students know prior to the new material being presented. This also allows the students to realize their prior connections and allow them to relate and connect that to the new material, making for students to retain the material better, and understand it according to their connections.

Generating and Testing Hypotheses

This style is cool, funny and unpredictable.
